Delicious Things With Crabs

Eating crab legs or the whole crab for that matter is fun and the meat is delicious. I enjoy the challenge of trying to get to the meat. How can I not mention cold crab claws served with a spicy cocktail sauce? There are so many ways to enjoy crab. Probably one of my favorite is a crab cake. I have had them in restaurants all over the country in all price ranges. Naturally the quality varies but I still love them. I wish I could find an easy crab recipe for crab cakes. I need a recipe that a not so talented chef like me could prepare in sufficient quantities to make a meal.

Crab cake is always served in small amount in the restaurant some presented as a meal But I am more inclined to try something else for dinner. I always love to cook crab cakes with a good side dish and white wine at home . I remember as a little boy going to Red Lobster and loving to eat snow crab. The soft texture of the crab meat and the buttery garlic sauce was just delicious. I also used to go over to my best friends house and his sister was in love with crab dip.

I got to try it, and I must say that it is very addicting. I would like to try some crab dip at a restaurant as I have only tried the store-bought variety. It is a very good treat with crackers or to eat with raw vegetables or even just by itself. Joes Crab Shack is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at, and I would love to try their crab soup at some point. Crab is just such a lovely soft meat to eat, and I know it would taste so good in a soup. I will definitely have to make sure I try the crab soup next time I go there.

Seafood is one of my favourite things to eat, lobster, salmon, tilapia, prawns, shrimp, oysters and crab. Although growing up native I much prefer salmon to anything having grown up on it but prawns and shrimp tend to be a favourite also. A single thing I cannot stand is when I order seafood at a restaurant and they bring the intact animal to your table. When I was out with my fiance in a restaurant, he failed to notice the menu which stated whole lobster instead of a lobster tail. The lobster was brought to the table antennaes and all.

Unfortunately that quickly turned him off of the lobster and seeing as it was a seafood restaurant I was forced to eat the lobster while he ordered chowder with corn, which was also an interesting experience. My fiance was okay with eating it seeing it didn’t have a face. It was a great evening after all.
