Storing Lobster After You’ve Cooked It
By Tim Somers on May 13, 2007 in General
When you get in a fresh shipment of lobster tail, which you can have delivered right to your door, make sure that you buy a bit extra to use throughout other dishes throughout the week. If you purchase Maine lobster and cook a large batch of it at one time, you can then turn it into several meals.Â
For example, buy live lobster and have it shipped right to your door. Cook lobster like you enjoy, perhaps by steaming, grilling or even boiling it. Then, serve a meal and wait for the extras, if there are any. You can store lobster that has been cooked for several days (between three and four) in an airtight container with a lid in the refrigerator. Use it again for stews. Grill again lightly for a sandwich topper. Make a dip out of it. There are plenty of ways to enjoy live lobster all week long.
